Afropunk’s Carnival of Consciousness made its triumphant return to Atlanta last week took over 787 Windsor Street for two days of expressive style, music and culture. Afropunk prides itself on being “a safe place, a blank space to freak out in, to construct a new reality, to live your life as you see fit, while making sense of the world around you”. This year I had the pleasure of sitting down for a chat with several of the Afropunk performers; the 1st of which I shall now introduce you to.
